LEADER'S FLOOR UPDATE
Schedule for the Week of December 19, 2022
as announced by Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer
"Members are advised that pending Senate action on the Omnibus, the earliest the House is expected to meet is Wednesday, December 21st, with first votes of the week postponed until 6:30 p.m.
Members are further advised that the House is also expected to meet on Thursday, December 22nd and will stay in session until the Omnibus is completed.
If the Senate is able to act on the Omnibus earlier in the week, Members will be given 24-hours' notice before the House will be called back to session. Members should expect that the House will be in session for at least two legislative days next week.
Additionally, Members are advised that the House will consider bills under suspension of the Rules and additional legislative items are possible."
