LEADER'S FLOOR UPDATE

Today, the House meets at 2:00 p.m. for legislative business. There will be up to fifteen "One Minutes" per side.

Following “One Minutes,” the House is expected to recess.

At approximately 2:30 p.m., the House will reconvene and debate the five bills listed for consideration under suspension of the Rules. 

After suspension debate, the House will begin one hour of debate on the Senate Amendment to H.R. 3684 – Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

Following debate on the Senate Amendment to H.R. 3684, the House is expected to recess to accommodate for the Democratic Caucus meeting.

At approximately 6:30 p.m. the House will reconvene and take votes.  These are the last votes for the day. 

Next/Last votes predicted: at approximately 6:30 p.m., on two suspensions.

**Members are advised that the House is expected to complete consideration of the Senate Amendment to H.R. 3684 on Thursday.

**Members are further advised that each vote taken by the House will be now open for a total of 15 minutes and will close immediately thereafter.  Members, especially Members casting proxy votes on behalf of other Members, are expected to adhere to voting groups and vote in a timely manner, while maintaining social distancing and adhering to the health and safety recommendations of the House Sergeant at Arms and Attending Physician.
