FLOOR SCHEDULE UPDATE

The House has begun one hour of debate on the Rule providing for consideration of H.R. 6395 – William M. (Mac) Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021, the Senate Amendment to H.R. 1957 – Great American Outdoors Act, H.R. 7027 – Child Care Is Essential Act, and H.R. 7327 – Child Care for Economic Recovery Act.

After debate on the Rule, the House will take votes, by groups.

Following votes, the House will begin one hour of general debate on H.R. 6395.  After general debate, the House will begin consideration of amendments to H.R. 6395.

At approximately 5:00 – 5:30 p.m., the House will take votes on amendments, by groups.  These will be the last votes of the day. 

Following last votes, the House will complete debate on amendments to H.R. 6395.  Any recorded votes requested will be postponed until Tuesday.

Next votes predicted: at approximately 11:15 – 11:30 a.m., on the Rule for H.R. 6395, the Senate Amendment to H.R. 1957, H.R. 7027, and H.R. 7327.

**Members are advised that there will be a moment of silence during the first vote series to honor the passing of Representative John Lewis of Georgia.

All Members will have a minimum of 5 minutes to vote when their group is called to the Floor.   Members will be given notice from the Whip's office during the vote series when their group should come to the Floor for votes.
