The House has completed debate of the three amendments to H.R. 790 – Federal Civilian Workforce Pay Raise Fairness Act of 2019.
The House has now begun debate on H.Res. 79 – Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that Government shutdowns are detrimental to the Nation and should not occur - under suspension of the Rules.
After suspension debate, the House will take votes. These will be the last votes for the week.
Next/Last votes predicted: at approximately 12:40 – 1:00 p.m., on an amendment, motion to recommit, and passage of H.R. 790, and H.Res. 79 – under suspension of the Rules.
