The House has begun one hour of debate on the Rule providing for consideration of H.R. 2203 – Homeland Security Improvement Act, H.R. 3525 – U.S. Border Patrol Medical Screening Standards Act, and the resolution related to the whistleblower complaint of August 12, 2019, made to the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community.

After debate on the Rule, the House will take votes.  Following votes, the House is expected to recess subject to the call of the Chair. 

At approximately 2:30 p.m., the House will reconvene and begin one hour of debate on the resolution related to the whistleblower complaint of August 12, 2019, made to the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community. 

Following debate on the resolution, the House will begin one hour of debate on H.R. 2203. 

After debate on H.R. 2203, the House will debate H.R. 1595 – SAFE Banking Act of 2019, as amended – under suspension of the Rules.

Following suspension debate, the House will take votes.  These will be the last votes of the day.

Next votes predicted: at approximately 1:00 – 1:15 p.m., on the Rule for H.R. 2203, H.R. 3525, and the resolution related to the whistleblower complaint of August 12, 2019, made to the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community.
