Today, the House meets at 12:00 p.m. for legislative business. There will be up to fifteen “One Minutes” per side.
Following “One Minutes,” the House will begin one hour of debate on the Rule providing for consideration of H.R. 582 – Raise the Wage Act.
After debate on the Rule, the House will debate three joint resolutions for congressional disapproval – S.J.Res. 36, S.J.Res. 37, and S.J.Res. 38.
Following debate on the joint resolutions, the House will begin one hour of debate on the Resolution to Hold Attorney General Barr and Secretary of Commerce Ross in Contempt.
After debate on the Contempt Resolution, the House will consider eight bills under suspension of the Rules.
Following suspension debate, the House will take votes. These will be the last votes of the day.
Next/Last votes predicted: at approximately 5:00 – 5:30 p.m., on the Rule for H.R. 582; passage of S.J.Res. 36; passage of S.J.Res. 37; passage of S.J.Res. 38; adoption of the Resolution to Hold Attorney General Barr and Secretary of Commerce Ross in Contempt; amendments and final passage of H.R. 3494 – Damon Paul Nelson and Matthew Young Pollard Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020; and suspensions.
