The House has resumed consideration of amendments to H.R. 2500 – National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020, beginning with Thompson (MS) Amendment #437. Members should be prepared to offer their amendments at the appropriate time today.
After amendment debate, the House will debate H.R. 1327 – Never Forgot the Heroes: James Zadroga, Ray Pfeifer, and Luis Alvarez Permanent Authorization of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund Act – under suspension of the Rules.
Following supension debate, the House will take votes. These will be the last votes of the week.
Next/Last votes predicted: at approximately 11:00 – 11:15 a.m., on amendments, motion to recommit, and final passage of H.R. 2500, and H.R. 1327 – under suspension of the Rules.
