The House has begun one hour of debate on the Rule providing for consideration of the House Amendment to the Senate Amendment to H.R. 1437 – Further Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2023; S. 4003 – Law Enforcement De-Escalation Training Act of 2022; S. 3095 – Preventing Organizational Conflicts of Interest in Federal Acquisition Act; and H.R. 1948 – VA Employee Fairness Act of 2021.
After debate on the Rule, the House will take votes.
Following votes, the House will begin one hour of debate on the House Amendment to the Senate Amendment to H.R. 1437 – Further Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2023.
After debate on the House Amendment to the Senate Amendment to H.R. 1437, the House will begin debate on S. 2607 – Iran Hostages Congressional Gold Medal Act – under suspension of the Rules.
Following debate on S. 2607, the House will begin debate on S. 5229 – A bill to direct the Joint Committee of Congress on the Library to remove the bust of Roger Brooke Taney in the Old Supreme Court Chamber of the Capitol and to obtain a bust of Thurgood Marshall for installation in the Capitol or on the Capitol Grounds, and for other purposes – under suspension of the Rules.
After debate on S. 5229, the House will recess subject to the call of the Chair.
Following the recess, the House will reconvene and complete debate on the bills listed for consideration under suspension of the Rules.
After debate on Suspensions, the House will begin one hour of debate on S. 4003 – Law Enforcement De-Escalation Training Act of 2022.
Following debate on S. 4003, the House will begin one hour of debate on S. 3095 – Preventing Organizational Conflicts of Interest in Federal Acquisition Act.
After debate on S. 3095, the House will take votes. These will be the last votes of the day.
