Members are advised that Democratic Leadership has issued the following policy regarding One Minutes, Five Minutes, and Special Orders during the 117th Congress.
The first legislative day of the week:
Members are advised that Democratic Leadership has issued the following policy regarding One Minutes, Five Minutes, and Special Orders during the 117th Congress.
The first legislative day of the week:
- Members can give 5 minute speeches during morning hour, at 12:00 p.m., limited to 55 minutes per side. (Except when following an out-of-session week).
- Members can give 1 minute speeches at 2:00 p.m. (after prayer and Pledge of Allegiance), 15 per side.
- Members can give 5 minute speeches during morning hour, at 10:00 a.m., limited to 55 minutes per side.
- Members can give 1 minute speeches, 15 per side, at 12:00 p.m. (after prayer and Pledge of Allegiance).
- No morning hour.
- Members can give 1 minute speeches, 5 per side, at 9:00 a.m. (after prayer and Pledge of Allegiance).
- Unlimited 1 minute speeches.
- 1 Hour-long special order per side.
- 2 Thirty minute special orders per side.
