**Members are advised that the House will only consider the Rule for H.R. 3624 today. General and amendment debate for H.R. 3624 will occur tomorrow.

H.Res. 618 – Rule providing for consideration of H.R. 3624 – Fraudulent Joinder Prevention Act of 2015 (Rep. Buck – Judiciary) (One hour of debate). The Rules Committee has recommended a structured Rule that provides for one hour of general debate equally divided and controlled by the Chair and Ranking Member of the Committee on Judiciary.  The Rule allows for 2 amendments, debatable for 10 minutes equally divided between the offeror and an opponent.  The Rule allows one motion to recommit, with or without instructions, and waives all points of order against the legislation.

The Rules Committee also rejected a motion by Ms. Slaughter of New York to consider H.R. 3624 under an open Rule.  Members are urged to VOTE NO.

The GOP Leadership has announced the following schedule for Thursday, February 25: The House will meet at 12:00 p.m. for legislative business.  The House is expected to continue consideration of H.R. 3624 – Fraudulent Joinder Prevention Act of 2015 (Rep. Buck – Judiciary). The House is also expected to begin consideration of H.R. 2406 – Sportsmen’s Heritage and Recreational Enhancement (SHARE) Act (Rep. Wittman – Natural Resources) (Subject to a Rule).
