THE DAILY QUOTE
“It may be Infrastructure Week (again?), but don't look for new funding this year. That was effectively the message Monday as Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao headlined an event organized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the AFL-CIO and other Infrastructure Week advocates. While reiterating the administration's goals, Chao declined to endorse any of the funding options required for any spending spree on roads, bridges, airports, water systems and more.”
