There is a chorus of voices growing… and not in President Trump’s favor. Two recent polls show the American people strongly disapprove of his decision to declare a national emergency at the border, which violates the Constitution and makes America less safe.
A Hill-Harris X poll today found 59% of Americans think this national emergency was an “inappropriate use of emergency powers and it is likely to be struck down.”
A Politico/Morning Consult poll released this week found a majority of Americans disapprove of President Trump’s decision and 50% of Americans believe it is “an abuse of power.”
