America's Economy Performs Better Under Democrats

Today, Democratic Whip Steny H. Hoyer released a report that demonstrates how the economy has performed consistently better under Democratic presidents than Republican ones. The report examines economic performance between 1949 and 2015, and identifies what our economy would have looked like in 2016 had Democrats controlled the White House during the entire 68 year period. 

The detailed analysis shows a clear pattern: when Democratic presidents are in office, the American economy performs better in nearly every way.
