The House has begun debate on the Rule providing for consideration of H.R. 790 – Federal Civilian Workforce Pay Raise Fairness Act of 2019. After debate on the Rule, the House will take votes.
Following votes, the House will begin one hour of general debate on H.R. 790. After general debate, the House will debate the three amendments to H.R. 790.
Following amendment debate, the House will debate H.Res. 79 – Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that Government shutdowns are detrimental to the Nation and should not occur - under suspension of the Rules.
After suspension debate, the House will take votes. These will be the last votes for the week.
Next votes predicted: at approximately 9:45 – 10:15 a.m., on the Rule for H.R. 790.
